On behalf of the Green Cluster for Science and Conservation Research, we are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Strategic Meeting on Advancing Innovation in Heritage Conservation. The event will be hosted by the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage, KIK-IRPA, in Brussels on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
The Strategic Meeting will feature a morning session sharing the latest advances in sustainable and green innovation for cultural heritage preservation, presented by three Horizon Europe research projects - GOGREEN, MOXY, and GREENART (RIA call CL2-2021-HERITAGE-01-01) - united in a Green Cluster. The afternoon session will focus on how policy can better support the future of green and sustainable cultural heritage conservation and innovation, including a keynote speech by prof. dr. Hermann Parzinger, Executive President of Europa Nostra, a roundtable discussion, and concrete proposals for discussion on how policy can better support the future of green and sustainable cultural heritage conservation and innovation.

The day aligns the work of the Green Cluster with European Policy and industry, highlighting opportunities for integration, implementation, and support based on green innovation and technological developments.
